A Korean Odyssey (화유기)
A Korean Odyssey (화유기) is a South Korean television series starring Lee Seung-gi, Cha Seung-won, Oh Yeon-seo, Lee Hong-gi and Jang Gwang. Written by the Hong sisters, the drama is a modern spin-off of the Chinese classic novel Journey to the West.
Synopsis
In 2017, Son Oh-Gong and King Wooma are in conflict with each other and they look for a true light in a dark world where evils exist everywhere. Where in Son Oh-Gong meets a little girl who he made a contract with, 25 years later they met again. From there, Son Oh-Gong always protects the little girl who he had met from before.
